1. About These Terms

Welcome to the Hungry Minds learning platform, powered by LearnWorlds. This platform is operated by Hungry Minds Pty Ltd, a learning design agency based in Australia.

By accessing or using this platform — including browsing, enrolling in a course, or completing any learning activity — you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

These terms apply alongside any specific course agreements, enrolment conditions, or organisational arrangements your employer may have with Hungry Minds.

2. Who We Are

Hungry Minds is a full-service learning design agency. We design workplace learning that actually sticks — from eLearning and blended programs to learning strategy and LMS solutions.

This LearnWorlds instance is used to host and deliver learning programs designed or managed by Hungry Minds, on behalf of our clients or directly for learners.

3. Your Account

To access courses on this platform, you will need an account. You are responsible for:

•       Providing accurate information when creating your account

•       Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential

•       All activity that occurs under your account

•       Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account. If you are accessing the platform as part of a workplace program, your employer may have additional requirements.

We reserve the right to suspend or deactivate accounts where there is reason to believe these terms have been breached.

4. Access to Courses & Content

When you enrol in a course on this platform, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and complete that course for your personal or professional development.

What you can do:

•       Access and complete enrolled courses on any compatible device

•       Download resources explicitly made available for download

•       Revisit course content within your access period

What you cannot do:

•       Share your login details or course access with others

•       Copy, reproduce, screen-record, or redistribute course content

•       Use course content for commercial purposes without written permission

•       Reverse-engineer or extract content from interactive learning modules

Course access periods vary. Unless otherwise stated, access is granted for the duration specified at enrolment. Hungry Minds reserves the right to update or withdraw course content with reasonable notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform — including courses, videos, graphics, written materials, assessments, interactive elements, and branding — is the intellectual property of Hungry Minds Pty Ltd or the relevant client organisation, and is protected under Australian copyright law.

The Hungry Minds name, logo, and associated branding are trademarks of Hungry Minds Pty Ltd. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights to use our trademarks.

Where courses include third-party content (such as licensed images or external resources), those materials remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Payments & Enrolments

Where courses are offered for purchase through this platform:

•       All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise

•       Payment is required before access is granted

•       We accept payment via the methods displayed at checkout

•       Credit card information is not stored by us on our servers

Refunds

Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing a course you have paid for, please contact us promptly. We are not able to offer refunds for change-of-mind once course content has been accessed.

For courses delivered on behalf of an employer or client organisation, the relevant procurement or refund conditions will be governed by Hungry Minds' agreement with that organisation.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use this platform in good faith and in a manner consistent with its purpose: to support learning. You must not:

•       Use the platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose

•       Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure

•       Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or malicious content

•       Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation

•       Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

•       Use automated tools to scrape or harvest content from the platform

We reserve the right to remove access for any user who breaches these conditions without notice.

8. Completion & Certificates

Where a course includes a completion certificate, this will be issued through the LearnWorlds platform upon meeting the course completion criteria (such as completing all modules and passing any assessments).

Certificates issued by Hungry Minds through this platform represent completion of the specific learning program. Unless explicitly stated, they do not constitute nationally recognised qualifications or formal accreditation under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

Where Hungry Minds delivers accredited training, separate terms under the relevant course licence agreement will apply.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The content on this platform is intended for general learning and professional development purposes. While we work hard to ensure accuracy and relevance, Hungry Minds makes no representations or warranties as to the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of course content for any specific purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, Hungry Minds' liability for any claim arising from your use of this platform is limited to the re-supply of the relevant course or a refund of the amount paid, whichever we determine to be appropriate.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).

10. Third-Party Platform (LearnWorlds)

This learning platform is hosted and operated using LearnWorlds technology. Your use of the platform is also subject to LearnWorlds' own terms of service and privacy policy. Hungry Minds is not responsible for the operation of the underlying LearnWorlds platform infrastructure.

Where the platform links to external websites or resources, Hungry Minds is not responsible for the content or availability of those sites.

11. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. How we collect, use, and protect your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

By using this platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or platform features. We will notify users of material changes where reasonably practicable. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
